Carelancer set out to become the Uber of home caregiving: a marketplace connecting nurses and personal support workers directly with seniors and families who need in-home care.
The challenge was translating an ambitious two-sided marketplace model into a platform simple enough for both a busy family member and a working nurse to trust and use daily.
Ran a prioritization workshop with the founding team to define what to build first for a two-sided care marketplace.
Built the information architecture structuring bookings, appointments, client profiles, and billing into one coherent system.
Conducted business analysis and capability mapping to align the product roadmap with the marketplace's growth model.
Designed wireframes and a full design system covering appointment booking, caregiver discovery/matching, and video-call interviews between clients and caregivers.
Delivered a complete platform experience — from caregiver discovery and booking to interviews and appointment management — giving a young startup a validated, scalable design foundation to launch and grow on.
