Soprema makes waterproofing and building-protection materials. Specify the wrong combination and the consequences are structural.

Founded in 1908 and in Canada since 1978, Soprema had no real product catalogue online: its products lived in a library of documents. Building one meant reflecting the compatibility rules between hundreds of materials, and guiding estimators toward the right combinations and away from costly mistakes. In this industry, a bad recommendation doesn't give you a 404. It gives you a leak.

Map it with the experts. Workshops with Soprema's technical teams to understand which products work together, and which never should.
Design for estimators. Research with the professionals who specify and quote large projects, often under deadline.
Start from the building. An architecture organized by building component and system, not by product name, because that's how people think on a job.
Precise and fast. Comprehensive enough to be right every time, simple enough to navigate in a hurry.

The full story, with the screens and the workshop details, is best told in person. Book 30 minutes with me to talk about it.

A decade later, the architecture is still the foundation of Soprema's catalogue, which is about as long as you'd want a good membrane to last.
