The not-so-serious game that seriously bridges silos. One year in.
  • 400+decks sold in the first year
  • 180unique scenarios to play
  • 100players in one room, at once
  • 1 hto feel what enterprise design changes
Enterprise design is hard to explain and easy to feel. So we stopped explaining it and made a game.

In Boardroom Adventure (La Partie Prenante in French), a team builds an organization from scratch and sees how strategy, roles and decisions pull on each other. It runs on EDGY, the open enterprise design language, and plays in 60 to 90 minutes with 3 to 6 players per table. The 180 scenarios range from start-ups to a secret society reinventing everyday life. Your org chart is probably less weird. Probably.

Pick your enterprise. A thrift shop saving the planet, a secret society, a startup, a ministry. Then give it a daring ambition.
Build it together. Each player holds a stakeholder card and speaks for that part of the organization, using the EDGY language.
Put it to the test. Challenges hit the design. Watch it thrive or unravel, and see why.
Bring it back to work. Once the moves are familiar, the same table tackles a real problem, fast.

Why it works

Because the design does the teaching, and because nothing in it belongs to one industry. A fictional enterprise is low risk: nobody's job is on the table, so people try bold moves and laugh when they fail. In about an hour they share a vocabulary and a way of looking at the whole organization. Then the same table can take on a real problem, and it goes fast. Nobody has ever been fired from a fictional thrift shop.

  1. 1Play a fictional enterpriseLow risk, high fun.
  2. 2Learn the movesStakeholders, purpose, experience, structure.
  3. 3Tackle a real problemSame table, same language, real stakes.

Who has played

Large organizations ran it with their teams, small groups used it to work on real problems, and it held up just as well with teenagers and with retirees.

Played by teams at Hydro-Québec, Polytechnique Montréal and Capitale Numérique, and by 100 people at once at Rendez-vous numérique.

Boardroom Adventure isn't just a game. It's a powerful conversation tool that gets everyone in the right mindset to innovate and challenge decisions. A bit like putting humans in ChatGPT's seat!
